Fliers

Key Stage Two - Years 3 & 4

High 5 is a fun entry game of netball that has been especially adapted by England Netball for U11's. With only five players on court for each team, and off-court roles, participants learn more than just about the playing and engages more children more of the time. A key part of the High 5 game is that players rotate around the positions, meaning the players may become more adaptable.

Reasons to play High 5:

- player centred approach

- promotes fair play

- encourages young people to develop a range of movement skills

- modified rules allowing more time for decision making

- sits within year five and six of the National Curriculum for Physical Education, for girls and boys

- encourages team work and introduces leadership roles

- preparing them to be 'club ready' if they want to continue playing netball

- meet new friends
